Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
K-State Research and Extension is committed to being an equal opportunity provider of extension programs. Kansas 4-H is a program of K-State Research and Extension. A basic tenet of extension work is that we do not discriminate. Not only is discrimination against the law, it goes against our K-State Research and Extension core values. Learn more about this commitment to civil rights by visiting K-State Research and Extension’s website focused on diversity, equity and inclusion at www.ksre.k-state.edu/about/diversity-equity-inclusion/. Kansas 4-H Policy can be reviewed at www.kansas4-h.org/resources/policy-guide/.
4-H CLUB ACKNOWLEDGMENT: As your group organizes for the new 4-H program year, please read the Notice of Civil Rights to Post Rock District 4-H Program. Acknowledge the statement below and return the completed form to your local Post Rock District office. It is recommended that this statement be acknowledged as part of the group’s business meeting in October or November of the current 4-H program year. Please include it in the minutes. An officer or registered volunteer leader should sign in good faith that the membership understands this commitment. Because group leaders, group officers, and/or the membership will likely change each program year, we ask that this statement be acknowledged annually.
